Looking at the Big Ben along the Thames, London Landmark

I am so excited to announce my New blog launch!!!

GUYS WELCOME to my new blog launch!! And welcome me back to the blogosphere! 🙂 I am so happy to be back. I am pleased to announce that I am finally blogging on my own site… my very own personal website. Back in May (after 4 years of procrastination!!), I tried out blogging under WordPress.com and have validated how much I enjoyed writing and sharing my adventures with you. I am definitely passionate about establishing myself in the blogosphere and writing about my journey is my happy place! Therefore, I decided that I am going to do this for real and build my blog properly.

In blogging speak this means ‘self-hosting’ with a personal domain. So I spent most of July researching for a hosting platform, learnt how to build a website and find a design that signifies my brand. Then I spent most of August building it, changing my mind on the design, searching for another one, building it, changing my mind, searching for another one, rebuilding it…. and I finally settle on this one. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Boy, what a milestone! For someone who is not technical at all and usually run the other way at anything computer or programming related, I am so pleased that I managed to create my own blog without any coding skills! And I owe this to the boundless free resources available on the world wide web!

Here is to the beginning of something awesome! I have a lot of exciting posts planned for you with a number of posts about summer travels to Seville, Naples and Procida in the pipeline. I also have a few amazing culinary recommendations coming up… so stay tuned!!

Here are some photos of the most iconic London landmarks – Big Ben and the London Eye that were taken over a summer evening. We love taking a stroll along the Thames, particularly during sunset. It is so romantic!!

So… what do you think of the new blog? Do you like it? If you are also contemplating on starting your own blog, I say, “just do it!” It is not as hard as it sounds…. trust me… if I can do it, anyone can!! I will be sharing what I have learned in the next post if you need more inspiration. So make sure you check it out!

Finally, can I just say how amazing my husband is!! 🙂 If it wasn’t for his encouragement and unconditional support, I would still be procrastinating about this blogging idea! hehe… So thanks babesy (if you are reading this)!

That’s all for now folks… Welcome again to my new blog launch and thank you so much for your support!! I hope this blog will bring you plenty of inspiration to pursue your dreams.
